Llwyngwril Gallery is a showcase for Welsh artists and craftmakers. A high and professional standard is maintained, with a wide variety of products.Llwyngwril Gallery is found in the pretty village of Llwyngwril, on the A493 between Dolgellau and Tywyn, Gwynedd, in very Welsh Wales. A great deal of work was done to select the goods we would have on sale, as quality is very important to us. We wanted to have something different to offer to the locals and tourists alike. All work sold here is made in Wales. There is a wealth of talent in this area, which has been largely inspired by this beautiful country. We have fine examples of varied and interesting products. which include works of art of many different styles, pottery and ceramics, jewellery and giftware, pieces of furniture, sculptures, some textiles, painted glass, turned wood, figurines, and handmade soaps, wooden and ceramic lovespoons, brass-ware, Welsh Pantry products with our own label, greetings cards and postcards, and much more besides. On-line catalogue is in operation on 'Gallery' pages. We also have a tearoom to enable customers to take their time to browse the gallery, and make more of an 'outing' of their visit. We have a children's play corner, to enable parents to relax whilst here. Once people come in, they come back repeatedly. The building is full of character, with a lovely friendly feel to it. It was originally built in 1830s as a Church of England school. It has more recently been used as a Church Hall, and as it fell into disrepair, the Church decided to sell it. The new owners, Debbie Ashton and Peter Jarrard, did not hesitate to put in a bid for it, when it came on the market, as they could see the tremendous potential it had for a business such as this. The gallery serves delicious teas, superb coffees (the best in town!), gateaux and the most delicious creamy Welsh ice-cream It is a perfect opportunity to sit and enjoy the atmosphere of the gallery and to reflect on which works...Contact us
